Spades, frames and buckets

Spades, spade frames and spade buckets

Description

All these types of buckets are used in clay soils as traditional trench buckets are too hard to unload

  • Spades are the simplest and are ordered to suit the smallest trench you want to dig
  • Spade frames are, as the name says, a frame that you can use to dig, with the advantage of being able to to bolt on a large spade to suit the job
  • Spade buckets, sometimes called “butterfly buckets”, are a cross between a standard trench bucket and a spade. They give you more capacity than a spade and are still easy to unload

Look also at the Klac Trench system as it will give you big savings in time and efficiency in situations without underground amenities
